    Class of 2027 Students and Families:

    Happy Thanksgiving!  We wanted to provide you with some important information before Thanksgiving break.  I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!

    • Week of November 27 - December 1:  The schedule will be B (late start), C, B, C, A. 

      • Late-Start Monday (11/27) - No AcLab

      • AcLab - Wednesday, November 29  (Sign up for AcLab mods by November 28)

    • Second Semester Schedules:  Students will be able to view their second-semester schedules beginning today (11/21/23) at 4:00 p.m.

    • Adopt-a-Family 2023:  Happy Holidays! Our Lancers have a long-standing tradition of supporting families in our community during the holiday season. This year, in order to assist as many families as possible, we have chosen to focus primarily on essentials.  If you would like to participate, please have all items turned in to the LHS Counseling Office on or before December 11.  Thank you for your support!  Adopt-a-Family via ParentSquare

    Class of 2027 Students and Families:

    Next week is Thanksgiving!  As the holidays approach, I am reminded of the incredible gift it is to be a part of the Lafayette community.  We are truly blessed with amazing students, staff, and parents, making Lafayette a special place to learn and grow.  I hope all of you are able to take time to enjoy family and friends and get re-energized for the end of the semester.  Have a great short week!

    • Week of November 20 - 21:  The schedule will be B, C.

    • Canned Food Drive - We would like to thank everyone for their generous donations to our Canned Food Drive benefitting Circle of Concern!

    • November Artists of the Month:  The Art Department is happy to share with you our November Artists of the Month.  We are so grateful to be able to work with such hardworking students who really go the extra mile to stretch themselves, learn new things, and master their execution!

    • Student Publications Patrons for 2023-2024:  Help support Lafayette's Student Publications by becoming a patron. Patrons get a subscription to the Image newsmagazine and will have their name published in the four print issues, on the website at www.lancerfeed.press, and once per quarter on the Lancer Feed’s social media account.  Use this 23-24 Patron Form or choose the SUPPORT US tab on the Lancer Feed website.

    • Yearbook Sales for 2023-2024:  The yearbook is on sale now for $75.  You can order online by visiting the Yearbook Order Center and using school code 8828, or print this form to send in or bring to LHS.  YBK Order Form

    • Chromebooks:  If you need any assistance with your Chromebook, please use this link for support.


    • Lunch and Outside Food Delivery:  Lafayette does NOT allow food delivery by outside vendors (ex.:  Uber Eats, Door Dash, restaurants, etc.).  If a student has forgotten lunch, the student should see the grade-level administrator.  To help lunch lines move faster, please download your digital ID to use at the checkout.  (Check your RSD email for a link to your updated digital ID.)

    • School Meal Information for 2023-2024:  Please reference this link to access current meal information, pricing, and your student’s MySchoolBucks account:  Child Nutrition Back To School Information 2023-24.  If you need information on Free and Reduced Meals for the 2023-2024 school year, please view this handout for instructions on how to apply.  As the year progresses, please check your student’s account often to rectify any negative balances.  Students, you can use your Student ID or your School Pass ID to make checking out in the lunch lines quicker.

    • News from the LHS Library:  Our Lafayette librarians provide a variety of programs and resources for the Lafayette community.  Please check out their link for more information regarding current programs, reading opportunities, web resources, and policies and procedures.
